Instrument Connect offers remote monitoring of instruments in real-time. The mobile app allows users to stay connected to cloud-enabled instruments and benchtop devices from anywhere, at any time.

Through the Instrument Connect remote monitoring app, powered by Thermo Fisher Cloud, users can easily connect to a variety of Thermo Fisher Cloud-enabled instruments, such as the Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 3 and 5 real-time PCR instruments, and the ProFlex™ and SimpliAmp™ end-point PCR devices.

Key features of the app include checking the availability of Thermo Fisher Cloud-enabled network-connected devices, monitoring the progress of basic PCR runs, viewing amplification plots in real-time (specific to QuantStudio 3 & 5 instruments), and viewing plots while being able to filter by sample or target in real-time (specific to QuantStudio 3 & 5 instruments).
